One long weekend .. too long

So, I find it to be funny that I was so positive in my last post that I was going to have an awesome weekend, and then it turned out to be really crappy.

First off, my boss, who is actually just in a lead position, got on my case again. I was on the phone with Ali, confirming our plans for the evening, when she came over to my desk, slammed her hand on it, and said get off your personal call (in a not so nice way). She *emailed* me to apologize for it. I went to my manager to tell her, but the bad thing is that a lot of them are all friends, so they kind of stick together. So that was basically a lost cause. That is when I decided to look for a new job. So if anyone knows of any, please let me know. I don't like working where I get in trouble for every little thing. And it's not even like I don't get my work done. I'm a hard worker and I have very high keying numbers. But whatever.

Then, I had an appointment with an Academic Advisor at ASU in the school of design at 3:30, so I left work at 3. Turns out that the office closed at 3 due to an "unfortunate circumstance." Yeah, right. So that put me in an even worse mood.

So I figure what better way to relax then go to our Girls Night Out, blow off a bit of steam, have a few drinks and have a good time. But no. That didn't happen either. I was on my way there when I decided to hitch a ride with Ali, since I was right by her place. That was mistake #1. So we get there, grab some tables and order drinks. Turns out, Girls night consisted of some random guy and his friend, who decided to get on my case. Bad idea.

Now, I was stuck at the bar with no car. When I finally got a hold of Ken, he picked me up and brought me home. That was around 6, and I slept until about 10. I read my book and then went back to sleep around 12.

In the morning, Ken took me to get my car, I went home, took a shower, laid back down for a bit, then had an eye doctor appointment. After that, I went over to Mike's for a bit of gaming. I'm so excited for our next session.

I ended up going with Mom and Dad down to the outlet stores in Casa Grande. It was nice to just get out for a bit and not be stuck in the house.

Sunday was basically the same old, same old. But Sunday night I was supposed to go all the way to Anthem (about an hour and a half drive one way) for a friends' surprise party. I didn't end up making it mostly because I had bad cramps and partially because I didn't want to drive all that way by myself. I could have hitched a ride with one of the guys, but with what happened on Friday, I didn't want to get stranded in Anthem without a means of transportation. And since I wasn't in the best of moods, I didn't want to spoil everyone elses fun.

Monday was boring and I didn't do anything. Raided a bit, but that's about it.

So .. all-in-all .. that was my crappy weekend. Hopefully things will be better for the next one!!
