Photography huh? Not such a bad idea. I like that stuff :)

So, lately I've been particularly moody. I'm pretty sure I know why. If it's not the reason that I am thinking of, then that is going to be a problem.
Anywho, I've been taking things that people say to me to heart, when I really shouldn't be. I'm being overly sensitive. I've gone through similar moods before, but I never really had anyone to take it out on. I apologize to all of those that this has affected. You are my closest and dearest friends and I would never purposely hurt you or treat you in an inappropriate manner. I know the things you say are not meant to hurt me or be a stab at my pride. And I know that I have made you feel bad by reacting poorly to what you had said.
I think I'm starting to come out of my funk. I also think I need more time with my girls. But I don't like to hang around the house, cause I've also been kind of claustrophobic as well. I'm not able to sit around the house and do nothing. I need to get out and go somewhere. Whether it is to Happy Hour(s), getting manicures and pedicures, going to the gym or even school! I don't want you all to think I'm avoiding or ignoring you, cause I'm not.
So I should be more calm and less psychotic, and if I'm not, please let me know, in a nice, calm, non-threatening sort of way.
I love ya'll!

So should I just stop blogging to make everyone ELSE happy?
begin rant
If you afraid a comment you make is going to end up somewhere public, don't make comments. And if you think one comment made is going to make people think otherwise of you, then that is THEIR problem not yours. Your true friends know who you really are and what your true character is.

Wow, I got so much sleep last night! Ken came and picked me up after my interview (I think it went really well btw) and we headed to Applebees for Happy Hour. We ate and then I paid bills and went back to his place. We ended up falling asleep at like 8-ish. I woke up a couple times, 9 and midnight, because I still had to go home and get my car and clothes for work the next day. We decided that we'd just wake up earlier and he'd take me to my car in the morning. So I slept until 5-ish, Ken woke up earlier to study for a quiz. I got up and got ready so all I'd have to do when I got home was put my work clothes on. We stopped for breakfast at McD's. He brought me home and headed to school, and I headed to work. I got here at 6:30, so I'm outta here at 3 (yay!).
Ken wants to go up and visit his dad in Glendale tonight. I'll go, but knowing Ken he'll probably be sleepy after class. We'll see. It would be nice :)
Ken and I have also been talking a lot about me moving in with him. I really want to, and I know he really wants me to as well, but I don't know if now is the right time. Maybe after the new year. I spend every night over there anyways, so it would just make sense that I have all my belongings over there too. I think the big thing is space. We get into moods sometimes that might make it difficult to live with each other. That's why I'm saying wait.
We've grown a lot in our relationship and have learned to communicate a lot better. When something is bothering us, we talk. We don't let it fester. And I'm really thankful for that. It has made us so close and so much happier! We know that we can talk to each other about anything and it's great!
So, life is amazing and things are going the way they should. Until next time, tootles!
So yesterday was my first time volunteering to donate blood. I was really nervous cause it was my first time. All in all it wasn't bad. I don't like needles, so i really didn't like that part, but after it was in, I couldn't really feel it. Unless you count the part where my hand started tingling and I got dizzy and light-headed.
So there were 2 choices for giving blood. Just regular donating which takes about 15-20 minutes including paperwork. And Power Red donating, which is where they take blood and separate the red blood cells from the plasma and then keep the red blood cells and put back the plasma in you. Yea I know, kinda freaky huh? That's the one I did and it took about an hour all-in-all. Yea, don't ask me why. I mean the benefits are smaller needle and you get twice as much blood donated. So it wasn't all that bad.
I'm not so sure I'd give blood again. I'd have to see. I mean, I got my fear out of the way and I was more of a baby about it then I should have been. I think I'd rather do the Power Red just cause it's more beneficial in the long run. Plus you only have to give blood 3x a year doing it that way.
I feel like I did my good deed of the year yesterday. I mean, I've done some other nice stuff, or at least I think I have. Anywho, that's my story! Yay!
I've decided to never blog about politics or religion again.
Yay!
I love Ken.
So, my friend brought up my controversial post.
And we discussed it.
My post was to invoke discussion, not provoke. Me, him, and another friend discussed the issue and there were good points that were brought up. Yea it sounds like I am narrow-minded, but I'm not. It was a reaction to what happened. It was my first reaction and it wasn't fully thought out. But still, other people brought up to me my post and we had an awesome discussion. I agree with what they say. But I know I can discuss certain issues with certain people and they totally understand where I'm coming from, I just need to not be so general in my statement. Other people just don't want to hear what I have to say or discuss it with out it getting personal.
Either way, my post wasn't meant as a personal attack on anyone. I don't mean to say that all parents are bad and they have to pay for their childrens' mistakes or that bad children always come from bad parents. There are different factors that make a "bad seed", such as environment, education, possibly parents or lack there of, fear, or whatever. But, I'm done with this subject. If you have any more to say, you can say it.
This is my MySpace post. I am deleting it off of there because I never liked blogging there anyway.
"So .. about those kids that shot those other kids .. other than it being totally messed up .. I think that for minors, meaning anyone under the age of 18, that commit any type of crime, the parents/legal guardians should go to jail as if they committed the act, or maybe a lesser punishment, and the kid that committed the crime should go to a detention center or jail for minors.
It is rediculous how parents can get away with their children committing crimes. Especially murder. All the parents say is "Oh, I didn't know..." Parents should take responsibility for their childrens' actions. If they raise them correctly, there will be no problems because the children wouldn't think about committing crime.
This is basically for those people who should have been spaded and neutered as soon as they hit puberty because they are in no position to have children. It's not all the kids fault that they turned out that way. It's the parents' fault. And if the parents are being sent to jail for the crimes their children commit then, I think, parenting will become more important and there will be less minors committing crime/murder/etc."
OMG! Okay so I had this totally awesome blog to post, and of course, the really good ones never get posted, either because of the internet or some random occurrence where you didn't actually write it in Word or what have you.
I'm so miffed! ARG!
Well, the gist of the previous post was me blogging on MySpace.
I don't like participating in debates about Religion or Politics because it just causes problems. No one likes anyone else's opinion and it tends to get ugly. Relationships - friendships, boyfriend/girlfriend, even marriages - have been broken up because of these discussions.
But the thing that makes me say that is I posted on MySpace, which I don't like doing because anyone who is you "friend" can read it. Which is all and good, I guess, I just like my blog to be a little less public. Anywho, I suppose it's my own fault for posting an opinion about a recent event that happened in Arizona.
So, like I said talking, or blogging, about your opinion just causes problems. When people don't agree with your opinion they usually resort to berating or name calling. I can't stand that immaturity. I mean, really. It's an opinion! If you don't like it, tough. Don't read what I write, don't listen to what I have to say.
Freedom of speech and freedom of the press are just 2 of the freedoms we have that make Our Country great.
But then, I suppose it goes both ways. If I don't want people to comment on my opinion, I should just not say it. But I don't like that either. I mean, why can't people just state their opinion without feeling like their opinion is just wrong?
Opinions aren't meant to be "right" or "wrong," which is why they are so. They aren't facts, or laws. It's just how one person feels about a particular subject.
I never assume I am right, and I don't necessarily take sides in arguments. I don't tend to stand behind my friends (I tend to stand next to them), because we usually have different opinions about things. I think that is perfectly acceptable. I don't expect them to agree with me either. It's why we are all individuals. I don't talk to my friends about issues that can be debated because I like my friends and would like to be friends with them for a long time.
I have known a few people who, when you get into discussions, they have to turn everything into a debate. And those people are not my friends anymore.
I understand you don't have to like my opinion, but don't resort to name calling. It just shows how narrow minded you are.
/end rant
So there's been a lull in my writing. Nothing has been happening that's been Blog worthy. We got a dog at my house, I've been spending a lot of time with Ken (and I mean a lot), and I've been working.
I've been looking for a new job, and I have an interview set up. I'm trying to get in with Kat's new company, the Radisson Resort up by Ft. Mcdowell. In 5 days she got a promotion, which I think is really cool. The main reason that is possible (other than the fact that she knows her shit) is that it hasn't even opened yet! They're still in the process of hiring. So that's cool.
I've been on MySpace a whole lot lately trying to find people I went to HS with. I think it's really neat that we can still keep in touch and see how people have changed. As for myself, I think I have changed a lot. I've become a lot more self confident, I've just basically grown up. And I still have a lot to learn, and much more to grow as well. So, yea, that's about all I've been doing.
Tootles.
Yay! I'm so excited! Mike decided to start up our original campaign again. This is what everyone used to (and probably still does) make fun of me for. I LOVE to play DnD. It's a lot of fun and the guys I play with are totally awesome.
This is one of the things that kept me from going insane when I really didn't know many people. These guys I've known since about 3 months after I moved here, which was 4 years ago, I've been friends with all of them since then and lately I haven't been seeing much of them because we stopped playing. I'm very excited to see everyone again.
So this is my Sunday afternoons.
