Ho hum ho hum

Things have been going well lately. Nothing bad, nothing spectacular. I'm content for the time being.

I went to yet another temp agency yesterday. I need to get out of where I am now. It is toxic, and I am bringing that into my home. I don't want that. And the way to do that is to find a new job. It doesn't look good that I have only been here for about 4 months, but this is beyond my control. I suppose I could just stay here and deal with it. It's not a constant thing, but when it happens, I am just plain miserable. And that is not fair to those who have to deal with me.

I also happened to come across a new eatery. It's called Yogis Grill. It's a Teriyaki and Roll place. So, they have teriyaki meat, sushi, and, my absolute favorite, Udon. I got the Beef Udon. It was good, but not as good as the Udon Ken's mom made when we went to see her. Mmmmm

I got a lot accomplished yesterday. I deposited my 401K check from my last job in our joint checking account, closed out my savings account that I don't use and just wasted my money with fees, and went to CVS to get deoderant. I'm not sure if I like the deoderant though cause it's vanilla scent, and not very appetizing. A little sickeningly sweet. Oh well.

Saturday I am going to a bachelorette party. It's an all day thing, starting off with pole dancing lessions, then lunch, lounging by the hotel pool, dinner, and then out on the town. I will be bringing my video camera because something funny is definitely bound to happen. I probably won't be involved in the class because I am trying to watch my spending, and I don't want to watch my money fly out the window.

I will have to beg and plead with Ken to go biking again. I haven't been too active in asking, so I have to start. The evenings have been getting cooler, so it's a perfect time to go. I really need to learn to ride confidently. It's a whole new thing to me to have my shoes lock into the pedals. I don't want to fall again if I have anything to do with it.

I'm gonna go get my new glasses tonight. That will be fun.
