Who I am most thankful for ...

Ok, don't get me wrong, I love my parents very much, and they have given me so many opportunities. I love my sister,as well. She has been there for me, and even though sometimes she can be a pain in the butt, I love her to death. My friends have been so very important to me. They made me feel so welcome when I first moved here, and we have all been friends since then. They are an awesome bunch of guys and I know they will always be there for me.

But I have come to realize that Ken has been a very big part of my "growing up" these past 2 years that we have been together. He has supported me in all my decisions, helped me organize my finances, and made me realize just how important an education is. He has worked so hard to get where he is today, sacrificing a lot of things that most people take for granted. He knows what he wants out of life and lets nothing get in his way to achieve his goals. He is a very inspiring person, and for that I am so very thankful to have him in my life. Seeing how hard he works and sticking to his guns even when times get tough has make me realize that I have missed so many things in my life because I had given up.

It is because of this that I have decided to return to and FINISH school. It has always been on my "To-Do" list, but it wasn't top priority. And the more I talk about it, and tell people that I am going back, the more excited I am getting. I have always wanted to finish school, but I didn't know what I wanted to go for. And, now that I know what I want to do, I feel that it is exactly what I have been waiting for.

I just want to say - Thank you, Ken. For all that you do for me. You have taught me so much, and I am looking forward to learning more.
