Video killed the radio star ...

So I tweaked the design around a bit. Mostly just changed the colors. What do you all think? I like it. So, yea.

It's only Tuesday. This sucks. Oh and to make this week so much better, I have jury duty Thursday! BLEH!!! I have to drive into Phoenix, during rush hour, to get to the court house. I'm so glad I only live about 8 miles from work and I don't have to deal with highway traffic. Hopefully I get on a good case. That might actually be fun. The last time I went I got picked for this case where we suppoed to determine if this guy who sexually assaulted a minor was a mental case. Well DUH! Of course he is. But they said they would be showing explicit pictures, and I don't want to even think about that, let alone see it! So I got off that jury and went home. Guess we'll see. I'll keep everyone updated.

My work has their Websense up again. That is the program that blocks all my favorite websites. Some days it works, some days it doesn't. Kinda tempermental, which is good for me.

I wonder what is going on this week for our girls night, which is also on Thursday, so I might really need a drink or two after jury duty.

So I ordered new sneakers for the gym, good ones unlike my Sketchers, and a new outfit to get me motivated to go. There is a gym around the corner from my place, so it's not like its a chore to get there. I'm just lazy. I'm going to start the day after I get my shoes, no matter what. Ok, unless if I have something planned prior, but NO EXCUSES this time!!! I'm paying for it, I might as well go. Not to mention I have been gaining weight since all I eat is basically pasta since it's the easy thing to make for dinner.

We need a new oven. The heating element is broken so I can't cook anything in the oven. The top part works, so pasta is even easier to cook. I bought these one-dish meals by Campbells which Ken loves (and so do I) but we need the oven for it. They are kind of high is sodium, but for the most part they are healthy, I think. Either way, we need a new one and they are like minimum $500. But there is a Sears Outlet store in Mills so we might go check that place out.

It seems like everything is breaking too. First the oven, now the cable modem is going. We keep losing connection and Cox said that it's because of the modem, not their service. Ken has had the modem for 4 years, so it kind of makes sense, I suppose. So that's another $80. Seems like everything goes at the same time. Either a couple big things, or a bunch of smaller ones. Oh well, it's really not that big of a deal.

Other than that, everything is pretty much the same. The guys want to go to Jillians this weekend, but I dunno. I hate driving. We'll see though. I'd rather stay local and go bowling. But that's just me. I like being close to home.
