T.G.I.F.

So, I had jury duty yesterday.

It was in downtown Phoenix and I had to be there by 9:30am. I slept in till 8, got dressed and was out of the house at 8:30. I figured an hour was enough time. It was. The building was really nice. It was all glass and very open. 6 floors. The inside was all open, only offices on the South side of the building. I was number 38 out of about 50-ish. We went into the court room and 1-15 sat in the jury box. As people got excused, everyone else filled the spots. I'm glad I was so late in numbers. I really didn't have an excuse to get off the jury, and I really didn't want to do it if I didn't have to.

I made a friend though. She is really cool. We talked almost the whole time, which made the time go by quickly. She was number 20, so she got picked to be on the jury.

All I really have to say is

This has been a long week .. again. Like I've said before, they are ALL long weeks. I think I just need a new job to stimulate my brain.

Or maybe I will go back to school. Jennifer works for UoP and was telling me about this Management Degree I can get, and it's a really short program since I have an associates degree. I'm going to look into the classes, ask HR if the classes are something that would be covered by the company, and if they are, I'm definitely taking classes. I really want to get my bachelors degree. I really think it will help me find a better job.

Just gotta think outside the box ;-)
