Hump Day!

So, the past couple weekends I haven't been "gaming" with the guys so I've had some extra time to spend with Ken. I'm loving it too. I can't get enough of him! Don't get me wrong, I don't spend 24/7 with him .. I work and go to happy hour with my sister every week and go visit my parents on Saturdays while he is at work. Sundays Ken and I get breakfast/lunch, do some errands and then head to the ASU library so he can do homework. I totally love it. Sure it's the library, but I bring my laptop and headphones and I play WoW :) We're there for a couple hours, until he finished most of his homework or is just too tired to think anymore. I give him props for being so dedicated to school. Even when he knows that I am sitting right across from him playing video games. Ok, that sounds mean, like torture or something. But it's not.

Yesterday I went home early from work. Between cramps and allergies I was not having a good day. So, what do I do when I get home? Clean the bathroom .. OF COURSE! Probably not the best idea with my allergies. I cleaned the sink and mirrors, vacuumed the floor, and organized the area under the sink so I can put some of my things down there too.

Next on the huge list of things-to-do is getting a new shower curtain liner (and a rod) and putting that up with the new shower curtain, getting a different towel rack cause the one we have sucks ass, putting up the shelves for my crap, and an extra bar in the closet for all my clothes. I know, I have a lot of stuff, but it's not stupid stuff. Trust me.

I've been looking for a new job. I am really not happy here. I complain all the time and try to find any excuse I can to not show up or leave (see above). It's really boring becuase all I do it data entry, and it's really easy. I spend most of my day scanning the message boards on HoR, or just surfing the net in general, though most of the websites are blocked for one reason or another. I don't even know what kind of job I am looking for. I don't really have extensive experience doing anything, other than data entry. I'm trying to get away from that kind of job. How does one get experience doing some other job when every job you look at wants at least 2-3 years experience in that field? It's kind of frustrating, especially since most of the jobs out here are gotten going through temp agencies and the pay is crap. ::sigh:: And so the search continues ...

I'm excited for the end of this week. Thursday is happy hour with my sister and some girls from her work, Friday is beers with the guys, Saturday probably going over to the parents, Sunday gaming. I was supposed to go away on a much needed retreat to Flagstaff, but doesn't look like that is happening any time soon. Things are just too fickle.

Time for lunch. Yay.
