Back to reality ...

I've noticed that a couple people decided to move their blog to Myspace. That's cool with me and all, but I've realized that I personally cannot do that.

People on myspace seem to be a bit too touchy with other people's opinions. I like being able to speak my mind and not have to worry about facing a firing squad. Sure, sometimes I say things that might be controversial, or wrong in other peoples' minds. Things I say might provoke debate or lengthy discussion, and I might be proven wrong, or made to see why having my opinion on that subject might not make sense. This is totally fine with me. I don't mind if someone brings to light another way of looking at an issue and it makes me re-think what I had thought previously.

Either way, what I'm trying to say is that blogging on MySpace sucks. I have a direct link to my blog here on MySpace and if people are really interested in what I have to say, then they can come and visit and comment. I don't need to give the whole world easy access to my blog.

So, New Years has come and gone. I ended up staying in with Ken and just WoW'ing. And no, I am not addicted. But Ken definitely is. He is on a mission to get to lvl 40 before he has to go back to school, whenever that is. It's really cool that he enjoys playing. It's nice to sit down at night and play for a bit and then go to bed.

Thursday we will be heading up to SUNNY Oregon. I will be meeting his mom for the first time. I'm sure it will all go well. This is an important trip since we want to have a future together, and it's really important to me that I get along well with his parents.

Bleh, back to work.
