Christmas

... was totally awesome! And I have the best boyfriend EVER!!

Ken and I spent Christmas Eve at his Dad's house. It was quiet with just the 3 of us, but nice. I actually ate sushi. Christmas Day we spent at my parents house. Talk about a lazy day! We brought bagels for breakfast, after going to about 8 grocery stores, only to find ALL of them closed, except for the one Andrea works at. After breakfast we watched Fantastic Four and relaxed till dinner. Had ham and veggies for dinner, and watched some more TV as we digested dinner, until dessert. mmmm Creme Brule my FAV!

Yesterady was a hectic day as well. We woke up, had breakfast, and got ready to do our errands. We started out looking for a new bed (FINALLY!!), and then made our way to Staples and Best Buy. Man, I really don't like crowds! People are just plain stupid.

Since no one ever goes to Staples, it was nice. We got what we needed and headed over to Best Buy. What a zoo! Ken looked around for a bit, but didn't really find anything, plus we were both getting hungry and I was getting annoyed at people.

We headed to Souper Salad for lunch. I made myself a huge salad and got myself some blueberry bread, but Ken's been sick so he didn't eat too much. A

fter that we headed to Costco, which wasn't so bad. We picked up some laundry detergent and headed to Home Depot. I bought Ken new blinds for his room, plus curtain rods to hang his new curtains (I got him new sheets and accessories and new bath towels and stuff for Christmas).

Ken decided that instead of getting a box spring for the bed that we were just going to get some wood-stuffs, cut it to fit the frame, and put the bed straight on that. Fine with me! So we got the wood and headed over to his Uncles' house, so we could cut the wood and borrow his Uncles' truck to pick up the new bed. We hung out there a bit, cut the wood, got the bed, and his Aunt and Uncle bought us some pizza for dinner.

So, by now it's 7pm and we're both beat. Ken's friend Sara is in town so he wants to go meet her at Gameworks, again, I'm fine with that. We stay there for about 30 minutes, go back to Kens' house and start cleaning to make room for the new bed. By 11pm we were almost done. The bed was together, so all we really had to do was hang the blinds and the curtains, and then I had to make the bed.

So I was in bed by 11:45 or so, and man I was I tired! Sleeping in a REAL bed is so nice! Too bad I had to work today.
