The Bahamas .. and so much more

Ok, so I'm back from the Bahamas .. I'm happy to be back, except for having to work. I missed my friends and most of all I missed My Love.

The Bahamas were a ton of fun. The weather was beautiful except for the humidity. The food and drinks were awesome, but expensive. The locals were nice and the shopping was just fantasic. I just wish that I had enough money to waste!! I came out ahead with a Prada purse and some jewelry (none of the really expesnive stuff though).

So, the day before I left, Thursday evening, I mostly just packed and then waited for Ken to come home from studying. Little did I know that he had a surprise for me. I was a bit emotional when he got home just cause I was going to miss him (yea I know, sappy). Which is when he decided to pull out a small box from an inside jacket pocket. Inside the box was a beautiful ring, channel set princess cut diamonds in white gold. I was, to say the least, taken back a bit. I wasn't expecting anything like that at all. At least not at that moment! I thought maybe for Christmas.. Of course, he was going to give it to me for Christmas, but decided to surprise me earlier.

What an amazing man he is. I can't enough of him. I love him so much!!!

So, since he gave me the promise ring, all I have to do is wait for the engagement ring!! Yes! hehe Of course we will wait for the right time, when we are both ready. It's going to be an amazing journey.
