So I'm almost done with being sick. I probably would have been a lot better off if I didn't go out to karaoke last night. The smoky bar did not help in the least bit. And the worst part is that I only got to sing 1 song!!! (ok, 1 and a half, I "helped" Andrea sing a song)
It was fun besides that. BillN and J came and hung out for a bit. And some of the regular people came out, Jesse, Matt, Jason ...
So, because I was sick, this week was just hella long. The crappy part is that I have to work 8 hours this weekend, but I'm splitting it up between Saturday and Sunday. I'm doing that mostly cause it's K.J's birthday this weekend and she has a lot planned. I'd rather work 4 hours than 8 if I happen to be hung-over or something. And that is another reason why I don't normally drink during the week.
I really dig my Physics class. The teacher is pretty funny and it's just a fun class. We go off topic all the time and he gives out extra credit points for no reason. He makes it fun, and if all my classes were like that I'd probably go more often. My Astronomy class isn't so bad, not as fun but I love astronomy so I love it. I still have to get in contact with my teacher about missing Wednesday. I hate being sick! :(
Nothing else is really going on. Things are kind of at a lull, and I'm basically just relaxing and spending time with my friends. I'm definitely not complaining because I'm enjoying my free time. I know that to some people having free time is a precious commodity and they don't get to experience it a whole lot. But the way I see it is that they are bettering themselves in a way that I don't think I can, or would want to at this time. I know eventually I want to, but it's just not 'my time' right now. Hey I have no qualms with going back to school when I'm in my 30's or 40's for that matter.
