This week has been a week of Monday's I swear. And not just for me. It seems like almost everyone else in my office has just been having a crappy week all together. One of my co-workers' daughter broke her ankle. Another one of my co-workers' air conditioning broke. I'm tellin' ya. It's been a horrible week. As for myself, I've just been super tired, almost oversleeping, and getting stuck in traffic every morning. It hasn't been disasterous, just crappy. Like a Monday.
So, thankfully tomorrow is Friday. Horray!!! Tomorrow night Ken and I are gonna hang out with the guys. We're going to this Japanese Resaurant in Scottsdale called Kyoto. Gonna be time for Sake Bombers and I'm gonna need them after the way this week has been going.
Saturday is gonna be super busy. Going shopping with Mike and then I have a bridal shower (that I still need to buy a gift for) that afternoon. Ok, so not super busy, but more so than it has been lately.
I hope this weekend we get to go biking. I've been wanting to go so much, and now even more so that I have a nice bike. I'm sure it will happen soon, and if not, oh well. It's probably better to wait until its cooler to go anyway. Maybe we can take a trip up north where it is cooler and go there as well. Maybe Sedona. It is so pretty there :)
Another mostly uneventful weekend. We didn't get to go biking because Ken hurt his back. Big Frown :( Oh well, there's always ... some other time ... I guess.
Other than not going biking, the weekend was okay. We had our first gaming session on Saturday. It was fun and interesting, but very difficult as well. We're using a system that Mike kind of made up using basic DnD game mechanics. The difficult part was trying to role play a character who is only 16 and grew up in a small farming community. Not as easy as one may think.
I ended up doing the same thing on Sunday that I do every Sunday. Woke up, went for breakfast at Neighbors Cafe, and raided for a majority of the day. The good thing was that it didn't last all day like usual. We were done by about 4pm, and then Ken and I just did some questing to gain rep.
I am so sleepy today. I suppose I should go to bed earlier, but I don't think it really matters .. it's still Monday. I still need to wake up earlier than I really want to. Such is life, right? It's not all bad.
So I got in trouble yesterday for being on an "extended personal call." Gay! We're getting a new Team Lead, who starts next week, but thinks that she starts now and keeps telling us to be quiet because we are too loud .. which we may be, but we're asking questions about work!! What are we supposed to do?? Geez ... this is going to be interesting. Our old boss never trained us right, but at least she was on the other side of the building and never bothered us.
I used to like this job, but now I'm not so sure. I might think about changing areas to work for a different division if things get worse.
But the good thing is that today is Friday, and tomorrow I am going biking with Ken. After that gonna start gaming again!! WooHoo! That's from 12-5 and then MC at 5:30 or so. Gonna be a busy, but very FUN day tomorrow!
So today is almost 1/2 over and then I'm outta here!
told what to do, told who they are, told what they are thinking
and doing what they are, and so on. Most people want
to be able to have a say in their own life,
and they want to be liked and accepted for who they are."
I got this from KJ's blog which she in turn got from her friends' blog. I think it is a very true and honest quote.
I don't know why I have been so sluggish lately. I have been getting a normal amount of sleep. I think it can be because of the humidity in the air. Or maybe my diet. No, I'm not on a "diet," just what I have been eating lately. I haven't been eating well. McDonald's for lunch isn't healthy. I had chinese food for dinner last night. It could be because I'm not as active as I should be.
Ken and I are thinking about actually going biking this weekend. I am super excited about that.
I can't seem to snap out of my funk! I just wanna sleep!
I was reading a fellow bloggers' blog and she was writing about her wonderful man and all the sweet things that he does and had referenced this in her post. I wanted to repost it cause I thought it was awesome.

Things to do to a woman:
1. Hugs from behind.
2. Grab her hand when you walk next to each other(don't make her grab yours).
3. When standing, wrap your arms around her.
4. Cuddle with her.
5. DON'T FORCE HER TO DO ANYTHING.
6. Write little notes.
7. Compliment her, honestly.
8. When you hug her, hold her in your arms as long as possible.
9. Be super sweet to her.
10. Call her at night to wish her sweet dreams.
11. Comfort her when she cries.
12. Wipe away her tears
13. Love her with all your heart.
14. Pick her up and flirt with her (she'll scream and say put me down but really she loves it).
15. Be a gentleman (hold the door for her).
16. Don't let your friends talk trash about her, it'll get back 2 her! DONT ever act different in front of your friends than when its just you and her!!!!
17. Take her for a long walk at night!
18. Always bring a blanket where ever you go outside when its cold to comfort her and hold her close
19. NEVER LIE TO HER!!!!!! because then she will think everything you ever said to her was a lie, even "I love you"
